The characterisation procedure was developed as part of the DigiCell European project (GA 101135486) and applied to study the evolution of mechanical properties in commercial NMC 811 battery cathodes during ageing. High-speed nanoindentation mapping was employed to obtain spatially resolved maps of hardness and elastic modulus on fresh and aged cathode materials. The documentation follows CHADA forms and includes detailed descriptions of sample preparation, calibration, measurement conditions, and post-processing workflows (Oliver-Pharr analysis, outlier removal, data normalisation, and clustering).
